Rabbits are wonderful pets. The House Rabbit Resource Network can help you make an informed, educated decision about getting a rabbit and why adoption is your best choice. Our rabbit care and behavior experts will answer all your questions and help you meet many wonderful, rescued rabbits anxious to find loving new homes. Plus, if your rabbit would like to make a "love connection" with another rabbit, our pairing service will assure a perfect match.

Introducing Your Rabbit to a Canine Companion

Have a rabbit and considering adding a dog to your family or vice versa? Shannon McCauley, a Canine Training & Behavior Specialist, will present information on how to go about the process of introducing rabbit to canine. Shannon's animal family has included rabbits and dogs for several years. She will include demonstrations and training tips for a safe and peaceful coexistence; have hints on evaluating best rabbit/dog breed compatibility; as well as a question/answer session.
NOTE: This will be a "bunny free" meeting - please leave your rabbit at home.
